Linux System Administrator/Cloud System Administrator

We are seeking a skilled Linux and Network System Administrator to manage, maintain, and troubleshoot our IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Linux-based systems, network administration, security management, and cloud environments.

Job Description:

  • Install, configure, and maintain Linux servers (Ubuntu, CentOS, RHEL, Debian, etc.)
  • Monitor system performance, availability, and security.
  • Troubleshooting and configuration of Linux server.
  • Configure and manage firewalls, routers, and switches (Cisco, Juniper, etc.)
  • Set up and maintain DNS, DHCP, VPN, FTP, and other network services.
  • Manage cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Automate system tasks using Bash, Python, or Ansible.
  • Apply security best practices, including firewall configurations, patch management, and vulnerability assessments.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve system/network issues promptly.
  • Maintain backup and disaster recovery strategies.
  • Document configurations, processes, and troubleshooting steps.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Proven experience in Linux administration (RedHat, Ubuntu, CentOS, etc.).
  • Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, and network security protocols.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Hands-on experience with firewalls, routers, and switches.
  • Understanding of virtualization (VMware, KVM, Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Familiarity with monitoring tools (Nagios, Zabbix, Prometheus, Grafana).
  • Ability to handle incident response and troubleshooting.

Preferred Qualifications (Good to Have):

  • Certifications like RHCSA, RHCE, CCNA, AWS Certified SysOps Administrator.
  • Knowledge of IAM, SIEM, and log analysis tools.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
