In view of the goal of achieving universal registration by 2020 as set under Vision, 2020 Office of Registrar General of India (ORGI) has taken one more step by developing a mobile app in addition to web portal i.e., crsorgi.gov.in. This mobile app will target from event happening to issuance of certificate, timely, accurate, quick, easy and hassle-free for not only the people directly involved in the workflow, but also for the public The CRS mobile app is primarily being developed

• To help registrars keep track of births and deaths reported from medical institutions under their jurisdiction and to ensure that all institutional events are duly registered
• To facilitate Medical Institutes

1. To report Birth/Death event using the user id and password provided.
2. To reply to the clarification from Registrar against a reported event

• To facilitate Registrar

1. To verify/approve reported events.
2. To seek clarification for a reported event.
